The principles, applications and methodologies of MBD using MATLAB/Simulink will be explored by course participants in this comprehensive program. Theoretical lectures, practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises are used to ensure that attendees have a solid comprehension of MBD concepts and techniques thus enabling them to have a competitive edge in modern engineering practices.

At the beginning of the course, Model-Based Development (MBD) is explained including the reasons for its pertinence in engineering design, development and testing processes. This helps participants understand how MBD facilitates building dynamic system models as a basis for developing and validating complex control algorithms and embedded software.

Participants will have chances throughout the training to observe demonstrations of Simulink being used for different purposes as well as engage themselves in code generation tasks. In case of any uncertainties on MBD principles’ application or designing, simulating and generating codes for real world engineering systems are held within these practical sessions.
